The "Eilandje" district is the oldest port area in Antwerp and is surrounded by water. Today the port activity is more concentrated in the north, but the port feeling still dominates here. Taste the old atmosphere of the unloading quay with monumental warehouses, lanterns, hangars and cobblestones. For good food, you can undoubtedly find something in one of the many and various eateries in the area. The historic city center is a 20-30 minute walk, where there is an even greater range of food and drink, shopping, entertainment and culture. The MAS | Museum aan de Stroom, the Red Star Line Museum and the Port House are not to be missed in the immediate vicinity, and underline the connection between the city and the water.

Guest Access

The whole apartment is accessible to guests.

The apartment is modernly furnished with a spacious open kitchen that is fully equipped with appliances and cooking utensils - for those who like to cook. And not to worry; the dishwasher does the dishes! In the extension of the open kitchen you will find a dining table for 6. The lighting throughout the apartment is cozy and warm and can easily be changed in intensity and color for the atmosphere you want. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a very spacious closet. In the small bedroom you'll find a queen-size bed. The couch in the living room can thus be transformed into an extra double bed. The beds in the bedrooms are made for you on arrival, extra sheets and bed linen are available if you also want to use the sofa bed. The bathroom has 2 sinks, a large mirror (which does not evaporate), and a bath / shower. Towels and shower gel / shampoo are provided for you, so you do not have to carry this along if you don't want! There is also a separate toilet room. The indoor terrace in front, with lounge seats, is not very big, but seems the extension of the living room, and it is nice to hang-out (if it is not too cold at least), with a nice view of the area. The smokers can go to the terrace, by wind and weather, to get a fresh nose. At the back there is a large terrace over the entire width of the apartment overlooking the courtyard of the building. Here is a hammock and a table for 4, so it is ideal here on beautiful summer days to enjoy your breakfast or dinner & the sun. The apartment is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, friends and families (with children), ....

🚧 Nearby works may cause noise between 7:00 and 16:00 on weekdays. No works on weekends or official public holidays. Maximum 5 guests. Only registered guests allowed. € 40 per extra guest per night applies. Unauthorized guests may result in immediate termination without refund.

Off-street parking in an underground parking is available, where you can park for free during your stay. It's only a 2 min walk from the apartment. There's a light rail / tram stop just a 5 min walk from the apartment. From Antwerpen Centraal train station you can reach the apartment by tram (20 min), by taxi (10-15 min) or on foot (30 min). There are bike stations of "Velo Antwerp" in the immediate vicinity (day and week tickets can be purchased online) and are a convenient way to get through the city quickly. I recommend this above car or public transport, it is usually the fastest with a healthy dose of exercise for free. For more info, search the Internet for "Velo Antwerp". Another way to get around the city is using the hip new Bird scooters. You can cover short distances quickly with these electric scooter-shares. Of course, you can also explore the surroundings of the "Eilandje" on foot, and the historic city center is easily accessible on foot (2 km, 20-30 minutes).
